Variety Cruises' New Kings & Pharaohs Program

Variety Cruises’ new Kings & Pharaohs cruise makes its maiden voyage to the Red Sea on November 24, 2010.  Exploring North Africa’s coast, including Egypt, Jordan and other gateway ports to world famous sites of ancient history, the program sends passengers on six days aboard the mega yacht Harmony G, which hosts just 22 cabins in a sophisticated atmosphere.

One-way cruises between Suez, Egypt and Aqaba, Jordan sail from November 24, 2010 through March 29, 2011, with fares beginning at $1,390 per person, per week.

 

ITINERARY

The Kings & Pharaohs cruise departs from either the ports of Suez, Egypt or Aqaba, Jordan. Both cruises make visits to the following locations:

•        Sharm el Sheikh, a luxurious resort community in the Sinai peninsula and home to St. Catherine’s Monastery atop Mt. Sinai.

•        Hurghada, a modern beach community known for its unique underwater gardens.

•        Luxor, an ancient land of gods and pharaohs and home of the Valley of the Kings, and the Karnak and Luxor temples.

Kings & Pharaohs cruise fares begin at $1,390 per person, per week.  Fares do not include shore excursions or crew tips.  Optional pre or post land program extensions include tours of Cairo, Jordan and Israel.
