Variety Cruises CEO Filippos Venetopoulos Elected President of Hellenic Association of Yacht Owners

The Hellenic Association of Yacht Owners (H.P.Y.O.A.) has announced a new leadership team, ushering in a dynamic era for Greek yachting. Filippos Venetopoulos, CEO of Variety Cruises, has been elected as the Association’s new President, succeeding Antonis Stelliatios after 17 years of distinguished service.
Under Stelliatios’ leadership, the Association successfully established the renowned EMMYS Yacht Show, one of the premier annual events in maritime tourism. Venetopoulos now takes the helm with a mission to build on this legacy, further elevating Greece’s international profile as a premier and environmentally responsible yachting destination.

The new Board of Directors, elected at the General Assembly on Sunday, January 25, 2026, for a three-year term, blends the expertise of veteran members with the energy and fresh perspectives of newcomers. The team is committed to promoting innovation, excellence, and sustainable development in the Greek yachting industry.
